Today we received a visit from Mrs. Vicki, the Director of our church Preschool Ministry. What a sweet, wonderful lady who is perfect for her job. It was so nice of her to stop by and welcome Sam into our church family. She also brought some goodies for little Sam...
a bag that says "God made me special", stuffed lamb, name tags for his diaper bag, burp cloth that says "Faith Baptist Church Loves Me" and blue beanie created by a church member that makes them for all of the new additions.
We are so thrilled to dedicate Sam publicly on Mother's Day, May 9, 2010. What a significant day for both Mommy and Sam (Sam will be exactly 2 months old!).
Last Mother's Day I had just experienced a painful miscarriage. For those who have never been through this, it is something that hurts and is extremely difficult to understand. God had another plan for Jonathon and me. One month after the miscarriage, we found out we were expecting sweet little Sam who has blessed our lives with such unspeakable joy! What a difference a year makes, and what a faithful, loving God we serve.
Thank you, God for what you have taught us over the past year. We are so excited to spend this Mother's Day celebrating our angel named Sam!
