Sam came home with these “Landon” shoes for every day play. Thought they were darling!

We also chose these “Grayson” white lace-ups that work well for every day and with some of Sam’s dressier outfits for church, etc. Also precious!

And who could resist a baby pair of the popular grey New Balance tennis shoes that we have all owned at some point or another? They really aren't as little as this pic in person, but they are pretty darn tiny and cute!

Sam enjoyed his first Superbowl party this weekend at Uncle Heath and Aunt Kaycee’s house. He was more interested in playing with Uncle Heater’s glasses and unloading Auntie Kaycee’s kitchen cabinets than the game, but had a wonderful time seeing everyone. I captured a blurry but cute phone shot of Sam playing with Uncle H in Daddy's lap. Notice the green/yellow PJs Sam had on for the occasion. Wasn't particularly thinking about the Packers and the Superbowl when I bought them at Baby Gap months back but they worked perfectly just the same.

He spent most of the night pulling up on various pieces of furniture and letting everyone THINK he might take a few steps! He’s becoming more daring by the day, so we’ll see when they actually start. Mommy and Daddy are definitely not in a rush for Sam to walk… We know we will need even more energy to chase around our curious baby when he becomes more mobile!
Our favorite commercial of the night was the Volkswagon mini-Darth Vader spot. This reminded me so much of Jonathon and Sam in a few years!!
Unfortunately for Mommy and Daddy, he did not sleep well following the party and was up about once each hour through the night. We were sure he had another ear infection, but both ears and his little throat checked out just fine. We’re guessing another budding tooth was the culprit (Lord help us if these sleepless nights are going to continue until all of them come in)! Sam’s tooth count is up to 5 and Mommy and Daddy are considering buying stock at Starbucks due to the insane amounts of caffeine we’re beginning to require to get through our days. :-) My new best friend is named "Skinny Caramel Macchiato." Yum!
