Friday night while Daddy was out grabbing our take-out dinner, Sam giggled for the first time! Mommy was holding Sam's hands and moving his arms/singing to him like he was Superman. This brought out those sweet laughs! Mommy wanted to go and grab the video camera, but I just couldn't tear myself away from that precious sound. Luckily, Sam giggled again for Daddy on Sunday in the grocery checkout line. :-) I don't think anything warms my heart quite like that sound! I am thinking of recording it and listening to it over and over throughout the day!
Sunday night was even more exciting when Sam ROLLED OVER FROM BACK TO TUMMY! Sam has been rolling over from tummy to back since he was about 3 weeks old and Mommy got to see his first roll in this new direction while Daddy was at a concert with Pops. Sam showed Daddy his new trick this morning and even did it again when he arrived at Grammy's. We have a semi-mobile baby on our hands! According to Babycenter.com, most babies aren't rolling over both ways until 6 months! We are so proud of our little 4 month old roller. :-)
Saturday, Mommy and Sam attended Jennifer Weatherly Casey's baby shower. She and her husband Joe are expecting a little boy named Wilson next month. Sam can't wait to meet his new playmate! He loved seeing Mommy's sorority sisters at the shower and was QUITE the charmer and flirt. Sam is definitely a little ladies' man!
Saturday afternoon, Sam spent some time playing in his exersaucer (still needs a pillow to sit up straight in it and his feet don't quite touch the bottom yet) and his new favorite toy- his door jumper! He LOVED the door jumper and really likes standing up straight. On a side note, he looked absolutely ADORABLE in it. :-)
