On Saturday 2/13, Mimi, Grammy, Auntie Kaycee and Aunt Anna hosted a family shower.
The food was delicious!
They had a cake made that looked just like the elephants in Sam’s nursery.

On Wednesday 2/17, mommy's co-workers Teale, Amy, Dvorah, Karen and Natalie hosted a shower with the ALSAC Corporate Partnerships Team.
Teale’s home was decorated with pictures of Jonathon and me through the years. These were of us as babies. Mine was the Todd family Christmas card back in 1982! This one of Jonathon is my absolute favorite baby picture of him. This is how I envision Sam looking!!
This one is of Jonathon slightly unhappy to be dropped off at Ellendale Baptist Mother’s Day Out. The one of me is by the Christmas tree, and I’m wearing a dress that says “Spelling.” HAHA!
Little Jonathon and Little Lauren again… my family instilled the “Princess” mentality in me very early on. :-)

On Saturday 2/20, The Russells and The Millers (best friends to mommy and daddy since college and even before for daddy) hosted a couples shower.
They had a yummy soup bar for everyone to enjoy. White chicken chili, taco soup, and potato soup. Delicious!
Alcoholic drinks and yummy punch for the soon-to-be mommies in attendance. :-)
