Yes, you read the title of this blog correctly. Our 2 month old is cutting TEETH!!!! My goodness, he is growing fast. Sam has been unusually fussy, drooly, and running a low grade fever. We decided to check his little gums on Saturday after some advice from Grammy. Alas, white bumps were present! Wanted to post pictures but our little booger would not remain still enough for us to capture his budding teeth. :-)
Our pediatrician let us know that this was not completely abnormal although a little rare since most babies begin teething around 6 months. Jonathon actually began cutting teeth at 3 months so Sam is not too far off from his Daddy. Wives tales say that babies who cut teeth early are proven to be more intelligent! Here’s to our smart Sam! A Google search on these wives tales also let me know that having a baby who cuts teeth early means Mama will be pregnant again within a year. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!! Let’s hope we are ready if this wives tale comes to pass! :-)
