"Hey Choo Choo Pants!"

Today, mommy had the opportunity to take a children’s entertainment group from Playhouse Disney on a tour of St. Jude. Choo Choo Soul was in town and performed as the entertainment for the quarterly Target carnival that the company puts on for St. Jude patients. Choo Choo Soul is composed of singer Genevieve Goings as a hip-hop train conductor and her partner, Constantine “DC” Abramson, a dancer and beatboxer dressed as a railroad engineer.

Can’t wait for Sam to watch these guys! Take a look at a video if you aren’t familiar with them… So fun!

While we’re on the subject of choo choo trains, I’d like to share a funny story about little boy Jonathon. He used to have some striped engineer pants like the ones below.

One day he was wearing them to school and he was taunted by a bully at the bus stop who said “Hey Choo Choo Pants!” Jonathon cried and went home to change clothes. Spending my morning with Choo Choo Soul brought this hilarious story to mind and I thought I’d share (even though Jonathon will probably kill me :-)).

Definitely have to get Sam some "choo choo pants."
